Welcome to Northwest School for Hearing-Impaired Children, a unique Preschool-8 private school focused on education for the hearing-impaired founded in 1982 by Karen Appelman & Judy Callahan.

The method used for teaching hearing-impaired children at NWSFHIC is Signed Exact English. Every word is signed and spoken concurrently.
