Northwest School for Hearing-Impaired
Children serves children, preschool through junior high, whose major
handicapping condition is a hearing loss. Any hearing-impaired child who is
not ready to function independently in a regular classroom setting is
eligible to apply to our program. Parents are welcome to observe our
school before making application. Admission procedures involve:
1.
A
review of the application by staff members.
2. A conference with the
parents.
3. A brief evaluation session with the hearing-impaired child.
If
a child is eligible for our school, he/she is admitted on a first come,
first serve basis. Tuition fees are set according to grade level.
Financial aid is available. |
