Spanish Bilingual Communication Coach
Family Conversations, NWSDHH’s birth-to-three program, is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Communication Coach to facilitate home visits and a family engagement group. Family Conversations is a program for families with children from birth to age three who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties.
Signing Exact English (S.E.E.) Interpreter/Paraeducator
Northwest School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children is seeking Signing Exact English (S.E.E.) Interpreters/Paraeducators for our preschool – eighth grade classrooms. We have both substitute and full-time positions available. Our S.E.E. Interpreters/Paraeducators use Signing Exact English (S.E.E.) in our classrooms.
Northwest School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children is seeking Substitute Paraeducators support for our preschool – eighth grade classrooms. Our classroom staff use Signing Exact English (S.E.E.) in our educational settings. If you don’t currently know S.E.E. but use another form of signing and/or are willing to learn, we’d like to meet you!
Join a unique, family-centered team! Teachers of the Deaf are sought to collaborate with outstanding colleagues, a paraeducator/interpreter, and administrative team. Located in Shoreline (north Seattle), our school community is a fantastic place to work for those seeking a caring, mutually supportive workplace dedicated to best practices in Deaf Education. The program serves children who are deaf or hard of hearing (D/HH), preschool through 8th grade who live within a two-hour radius of our campus are enrolled in a day school setting. Students are taught on-site by a Teacher of the Deaf (TOD), and students may be mainstreamed in their neighborhood school from kindergarten and up as directed by their IEP. All students wear amplification and use state of the art Digital & Soundfield systems. Class sizes are small.
