S.E.E. Classes
Why Signing Exact English (S.E.E.)?
Signing Exact English (S.E.E.) is a method of signing that allows all the parts of English to be seen and heard at the same time. Most S.E.E. signs are borrowed from American Sign Language (ASL) or are modified ASL signs. S.E.E. follows English closely, while ASL is a complete language of its own. S.E.E. can be integral to helping deaf and hard-of-hearing (D/HH) children gain full English proficiency so they are better able to interact in a primarily hearing-oriented society.

Online S.E.E. Workshop for Spanish Speaking Families
Virtual S.E.E. Classes in Spanish
Taught in Spanish, these virtual classes use custom vocabulary useful to parents/guardians. These evenings also provide a discussion of concerns and issues related to raising a deaf/hard-of-hearing child (audiograms, cochlear implants, Deaf Culture, IEP process, etc.) and provide families the chance to network with other Spanish-speaking parents/guardians of deaf/hard-of-hearing children. Classes are free!
More information coming soon. Please contact info@northwestschool.com with any questions.
